Rick,

Wonderful link and lessons! The telephone game was always loads of fun as kids... communication breakdown on projects, not so fun. :-(

I have seen projects fail miserably as a result of miscommunication, lack of communication or too much communication. Trust gets compromised if the communication structure is not properly set up (based on the styles and needs of the project team members) and followed throughout the project.

Your solutions to communication breakdown problems are extremely valuable. Thank you for sharing!

Sonia, Thank you for the insightful commentary. It's a welcome addition to the post. I especially liked your point that "Trust gets compromised if the communication structure is not properly set up". Rick
